(...) First of all I should point out that neither of these are my MOCs Jason's uncoupler has the magnet mounted on a technic plate which also has a rack mounted on it. Are the two directions on the 9V crosstrack electrically independent of one another? I'd like to have two ovals that each have separate controllers/engines that cross one another. Will it work with the vanilla crosstrack? (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

LOL The uncoupler worked very well, it is based on similar 'withdraw the magnet behind the buffers' principles as (URL) Reynolds' shunter> from about a year or so ago but of course with more space to play with worked even better.
