Re: 9V Discontinued? - Rechargeable Batteries

(...) The trains at LLCA apear to use gel cell/lead acid batteries. I'm considering a similar system, and have already tested something like it. I built a 4 wide train for a recent display. I used 4.5v track but had it spaced 2 studs apart enstead (...) (18 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Auotmated decouplers (Was: Who's the April fool now?)

(...) First of all I should point out that neither of these are my MOCs Jason's uncoupler has the magnet mounted on a technic plate which also has a rack mounted on it. The technic motor (controlled by the custom IR reciever) draws the coupling into (...) (18 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Now is our chance to take action and help influance a decision within LEGO before a point of no return is reached.   Crosstrack 9v Question

Are the two directions on the 9V crosstrack electrically independent of one another? I'd like to have two ovals that each have separate controllers/engines that cross one another. Will it work with the vanilla crosstrack? (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Save 9v Trains

I have to say that I'm really depressed by the defeatest attitude surrounding Eric Kingsley's post about trying to save 9v trains. Someone who actually has the ability to give our feedback to Lego has stepped up, given us what information he has, (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Who's the April fool now?

(...) LOL The uncoupler worked very well, it is based on similar 'withdraw the magnet behind the buffers' principles as (URL) Reynolds' shunter> from about a year or so ago but of course with more space to play with worked even better. Also, without (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
