  Re: Crane Car

(...) The boom hinge is held in place by gravity. The boom itself is on friction pins, so in reality it's held in place by the Hand of God (i.e., if I keep my finger under the boom, it doesn't generally drop anything). I had wanted to put in a worm (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Anime inspired container train for Soren Roberts containers

(...) Hi James, Thanks. LOL I feared I might have had my levels a little off. It's meant to be orange (there is real red on the top). I have to say a lot of credit goes to Soren for the containers. The train is just a prop for it. Tim (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: SCLTC Thomas the Tank Engine Weekend at LLCA Photos

(...) That round hose IS very nice. Love the windows. Also, I like the use of green click hinges on the trees. Great work! Jonathan (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

Re: Anime inspired container train for Soren Roberts containers

(...) (snip) (...) That is really nice! A great original-looking loc to go with those spacey containers. I love it! I really like the red/gray two-tone look and bulging engineer cabs. later, James Mathis (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) photos snipped (...) I'm a member of the SCLTC, and I have to say, this was a great event. The park had over 13,000 people attending on Saturday, and near that on Sunday.   Anime inspired container train for Soren Roberts containers

Hi all, Recently Soren Roberts came up with this (URL) excellent truck> with a really nifty container format. I dug it a lot and reverse engineered it with some help from Soren for the purpose of making a train to go with it. Anyway, to cut to the (...)   Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) For what its worth this is one thing I have asked specifically about and have yet to get an answer. If there were a really good rechargable battery would that make a differance. My feeling is that it depends on the following. 1. Pulling power (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains)
