Re: Differences between instructions and cover photo of old trainsets

(...) Dear Clark, now things become funny to me. You check my homepage for reference while I am causing a mess from wrong memories... ;-) I am sorry but I cannot check the 131 any longer: I gave up being an collector of LEGO trains 4 weeks after I (...) (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Differences between instructions and cover photo of old trainsets

(...) Dear Niels, I feel very sorry for the confusion I have caused. Completely my fault. I was too lazy to look at the building instruction and from memory I was mixing it up with the passenger coach from the western train 726, which has had the (...) (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)

Cheek. A simple crosspost of (URL) this> would have sufficed. Everyone knows that TLG doesn't make 8 wide LEGO trains (that is, if you blindly ignore (URL) this>;-) JOHN (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Differences between instructions and cover photo of old trainsets

(...) When speaking of p/n 32 & 33 it is very often awfully difficult to see if it is a left or right door that is used if you only have the instruction pictures to look at and this set is a good example of that. Also I have always found the parts (...) (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Layout of Jonathan Lopes

(...) I wish the tiles were old grey but bley works just fine. Tiled sidewalks are the way to go in my book. Along with tiled just about everything.   Differences between instructions and cover photo of old trainsets

Last weekend I bought a second hand 721 locomotive set with instructions. While rebuilding this set I noticed some differences between the instruction drawings and the photograph on the cover of the instructions. I know about the prototype trainbase (...)   Re: Layout of Jonathan Lopes

(...) Simply WOW! I never realized his layout was that large. There are some great details. I love the garbage truck and the 13plate tall windows.
