Here's a new British loco in 8mm:1ft scale. It is 50033 "Glorious" in memory of the real engine of that name being shut up in Swindon (UK) STEAM museum, fully serviceable but unable to run - what a shame! Still, you can go and see it without finding (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.uk, FTX) !

(...) I think you are probably right, especially with regards to track. I f you start off with new dark grey track you can buy it all cheap from those AFOLs with large collections who hate it!. Plus it should (hopefully) be avaialble new for a a (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Precious Princess Palace on bricklink had a slew of them all for $80 so they are still around. Good to know about the gray. Doug, You are right! I couldn't find 65537 listed at BrickBros either. But it should also be pointed out that this is a hard set to try and locate anywhere on the internet. I did some searching for it on google, and most e-tailers selling LEGO don't (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)
