Here’s a new British loco in 8mm:1ft scale. It is 50033 “Glorious” in memory of
the real engine of that name being shut up in Swindon (UK) STEAM museum, fully
serviceable but unable to run - what a shame! Still, you can go and see it
without finding that it’s attending another railway’s gala weekend!
The trucks are “Clay Hoods” used for transferring ball clay, seen often in
Cornwall (SW England) until newer wagons replaced them.

The loco features opening doors and removeable cab roof sections, to allow the
driver to be placed inside. The bogies are articulated, with one train motor
each and a wire connecting the two for better load sharing.

Are you going solely by track gauge for scaling, or width of the loco? I would guess that that (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
