Gak! I don't think there are any decided 'standards' out there yet, nor even any 'recommended practices', but looking at the image, a full 9 bricks is far too high for a hi-cube car. I've seen plenty of hi-cube boxcars, both auto parts and (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)

After modeling the (impossible-to-build) 7-wide passenger coaches with hinge shovel scoop bits, I stuck to 7-wide for a go at a Swiss Re 4/4. The Swiss Re 4/4 is characterized by a steeply sloping complex angled face and large front and side-front (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) other things!) - build whatever looks good and runs well. If it looks too short, add some height. If it tips over in the corners or hits something over the track, it's too tall!
