TCLTC website? (was: Re: New Building (light gray))

Ok, question, do you have a website up yet? I think it'd be cool to have that standards up on the net so that people could build modules & come & display with you. Say you went to display in town B... Well if someone lives there that isn't actully a (...) (23 years ago, 21-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) You might have a point, this time, but you got lucky. I'll stand behind my comments, you were way off topic and ought to know better. ++Lar (23 years ago, 21-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

If you will notice the row of plates onto which the grill tiles are (...) (23 years ago, 21-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

  New Building (light gray)

Although this building is new to the net, I actually began building it last year after a huge sale of 4561s from Walmart. The building took all of the 1x2x3 trans light blue thin wall elements from over 40 sets (I've forgotten how many came in each (...)   Re: 12 volt track

Just FYI, "Begs the question" means "avoids the question," and not "asks for the question." This phrase is misused by almost everyone (Check your dictionary). It would, however, be correct to say "Begets the question." Rick C. (...) (23 years ago, 21-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Was thinking more of the contacts inside the motor, which perform a similar function to the sliding 12v contacts, but I guess the same applies to them too. And being totally enclosed would help. ROSCO (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

Amtrak HHP8 loco with 4558 wagon consist

Eagerly awaiting the return of the Metroliner, I have revised my model of an Amtrak HHP8 locomotive. This locomotive seems appropriate, from photos I've seen on the web, to use with passenger wagons like those in the 4558 set. I have never examined (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)
