Re: Ambassador train for the PNLTC layout at LEGOLAND

(...) Are there any pictures of any of the cars? After waiting a month to see the pics, and then waiting a few days more so I wouldn't have to wait interminably long for individual pics to load (Brickshelf is way faster, even when it's just used as (...)   Next Meeting on September 15th

Re: 8 wide and 62 long!

(...) better. And make the bogies longer. This'll allow you to have the pivot point nearer the center, and still have the coupling not too far from the wheels. And the pivot point doesn't have to be in the middle of the bogie, either.... ROSCO (23 years ago, 8-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 8 wide and 62 long!

(...) IDEA!, move the bogie plate to the furthest towards the middle of the car as you can, it'll work better in cornering, it may look funny, but it turns better. Josh (23 years ago, 8-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I'm not sure about other castleheads (or Castleworldheads), but I'm living in a gopher hole right now... pop my head up once in a while, but mostly I'm hiding.   Re: New MOC: GP7 locomotive

(...) Thanks very much- and the same to everyone else who gave compliments! I usually don't like to use the technic construction you mention because it isn't a very tight connection. It often yields a section that tends to rattle. It certainly has (...) (23 years ago, 8-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yeah, heck I shouldn't even be posting here! :-D Well, I was just upstairs fiddlin, and I came up with a way to do a micro fig tanks! and only three studs long!   Re: Microfig doesn't mean space does it?

(...) Me too. :-, A microfig (I'm thinking "stickfig" :-) castle would seriously rock, though. Actually, I'm kinda surprised that we're not seeing more from the Castleworld folks. Cheers, - jsproat (23 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.trains)
