  10001&10002 Picts on line

I'm was a tadbit upset when I saw the picts of the clubcar. They used a different style stripe in the Bricks between the door and windows section. Its just angled and not curved like the orginal... 8( Oh well, I can't complain considering now I (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Clarification 4561 vs 4565

The 4561 DOES come with the regulator, the 4565 DOES NOT. The reason the 4565 is more expensive is that it has 966 parts as opposed to 645 in 4565. I have both of these sets and they are both pretty good fun, each have their own merit. The 4565 is (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Clarification 4561 vs 4565

(...) I hope this information helps.... LEGO train set #4565 does NOT come speed regulator/control. LEGO train set #4561 does come with a speed regulator/control. LEGO set #4548 is the speed regulator/control. If you buy #4565 you will need #4548 to (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Clarification 4561 vs 4565

Can someone please clarify: I believe that the set 4561 comes with the 9V speed regulator/control - but someone has told me that the set 4565 does not come with the speed regulator (but is indeed more expensive). And lastly from those that have (...) (23 years ago, 17-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Mpegs uploaded for the TTOS Show!

Wow! I didn't realize you had so many automated/automatic gizmos. Who did the drive in theatre? I've been trying to do a sign to rotate EXACTLY like the one at that drive in, maybe the person responsible might be willing to share the details. The (...)   Mpegs uploaded for the TTOS Show!

I've painstakingly captured a few mpegs to show some of the more interesting items of our TTOS show.   Re: Catalog Misteak?

(...) I remember noticing this in the train cover catalog as well. I'm not even sure which way it's supposed to go, but between all the 'engines with tender' pictures it is shown each direction more than once. John #388 (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Catalog Misteak?

(...) You are correct. This isn't the first time LEGO has done this... I guess the Media people don't actually play with LEGO and don't have a clue what it's about.   Catalog Misteak?

I'm not sure if this has been commented on before... In the current S@H catalog (bionicle cover), in the MOT section (p38-39), the picture of the "Small Train Engine with Tender" seems to have the tender connected to the engine backwards. The "Large (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Tilting Space Train=COOL!

(...) Based on this pic: (URL) think you are right. The vehicle is on an S curve but tilts strongly in one direction even though the angles of the end units w.r.t. the center are the same (in opposite directions, relatively speaking). Need to see (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)
