(...) Ross, Very good model...I've been toying with the idea of building one for a while, but couldn't work out how to put the doors in.   Re: Question for the true train enthusiasts?

(...) Er, sorry to chime in late here, but if all seriousness is aside, does that mean the wheels *should* be put together? You must've meant "All kidding aside...", right?   Little update...

I've added my Plug Door Box Car, & 2 more pictures of the 50' gondola, because i've started the ribs on it. The Plug Door Box Car still has to be made a little taller, to make it a high cube paper box car. Box car: (URL) the main 8-wide page: (URL) (23 years ago, 11-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: "N" class diesel loco

(...) I agree, looks wonderful! I too would like to see the DAT files. I have been playing with engine detail off and on and this looks like a great solution! Jake --- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 11-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: "N" class diesel loco

Great job! The engine and generator are super. I really like the overhead lights. Your model resembles the original quite well except for the lettering on the side. The letters overwhelm the model. Maybe some stickers on tile would be better. -- Bob (...) (23 years ago, 11-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Are LEGO "Train" Clubs endanger of becoming LEGO "Town" Clubs?

Well, I wouldn't say we are anymore "town" centric than the next non-LEGO train club. I think a great club is made up of a good mix of town, landscape, and trains (with wheels) -iacs. I like the train aspect of it all but I do a bit of RCX stuff. I (...) (23 years ago, 10-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains.org)
