Hello. I have just taken ownership of train set 113 - quite an old set but still a heck of a lot of fun! Can someone please tell me if this set was 4.5 or 9 volt? Does anyone have the building instructions (not on brickshelf)? The set is missing the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.au)

OK... following up to my own post... Steve stopped by and showed me how to upload pictures to BrickShelf. Hey! Who needs FTP!?! I just posted a dozen or so pictures of our layout. Its just an initial sampler to show you some of the new things on our (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

Howdy all, Well, here we are at Carlsbad, all set-up and ready to go for this weekends show! We arrived yesterday (Thursday) and started setting up in the afternoon and finished up today (Friday). We've had several local people form the SCLTC (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Let me apologise. I think I exaggerated. 10s of seconds is a bit much. I just carried out a test with several wheelsets that I consider to be quite free rolling (when placed on a car, that car will go many feet of straight track if level and (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I think you're absolutely right! The stuff I speculated about elsewhere in the thread isn't technical, it's just monetary (putting an electromechanical assembly line back together again or even recreating tooling isn't *technically* (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) OK, I tried the flick test on my wheels and none of them spun for 10 seconds. Not my old Metroliner wheels, not my new My Own Train wheels, nothing. The place where my sets are stored is about 80 degrees right now and fairly high humidity. (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)
