Hi Michel, No, it is not sand on the ground. It is an old faded towel! It is the same one I use when I take photos of my Applicator machines. Now that I look at the pictures, it does kind of look like sand. But sand would be too hard to clean off my (...) (26 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

Erik, I'm glad you posted the photographs of the curved wall you built. The semicircular building is very nice. The effect is quite stunning! That's LEGO?! Curved builing. Approximately 15 feet of train yard, with a roundhouse & Mindstorms controlled turntable, and as many sidings of track as we can fit onto the tables. He called me 'genius'... <blush> (...)
