(...) Yeah... Why would he go though the trouble: "If you zoom in, you'll see that the top and bottom edges of the middle sign drop by a whole pixel from left to right, yet the text on it is exactly horizontal. Also the three 'r's in the text are (...) (24 years ago, 24-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

Tim, It was only an april fools joke. If you were reading the thread Josh Baakko pointed out how someone had gone through a lot of trouble just to prove it was a fake, but did not realize the fact that it was an april fools joke. I was merely (...) (24 years ago, 24-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

OTOH, since Tom has a new mouth to feed, I would support his membership in the GoB with the diner as his first available set. Thus he could sell the set and get some well-deserved remuniration (1) for the time, effrot, and enjoyment involved. Larry, (...)   Re: Has anybody seen this engine before?

(...) He did. Twice, actually, since he built it and then photographed it, and I believe should hold copyright to both the model as a piece of sculpture/art and to the photograph he took. See (URL) however, that he would have to register (for $30) (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Signs, Signs, everywhere a Sign

(...) It's such a blindingly obvious fake! Even at first glance, why is there compression fringing around the 'Adopt a Highway' text, but absolutely none around the NGLTC? Not only that but the NGLTC text has perfect regular anti-aliasing, which you (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains.org)
