The first was a target of mine for quite a while: The Bad Axe Theater in
Michigan:

Doing further research, I found the building, aside from street level, to be
quite boring. So, I dressed it up slightly.

The second is based on a firehouse that I discovered recently in one of the
towns I lived in briefly as a very young child:
The marquee is one I have had kicking around sice 1999 or so. I think they
work really well together. Featured on this building are Big Ben Wheels
which I think look great! I am also very pleased with the cornice.

Really neat use of the knit
caps on the Bad Axe. Shouldnt the windows on the two theaters be bricked
up, though (assuming they were converted from other uses)?
Great work as always, Jonathan. Id love what you could do with the
Senator in
Baltimore.

Hi Marc,
Glad you noticed the knit caps. They were a last minute idea that I think
worked out nicely. With regards to the blocked up windows; this may sound a
bit odd coming from someone who has created some of the rough looking buildings
that I have built, but I specifically wanted these windows not to be blocked up.
I didnt want these theaters to have that rough look to them. But, you are
absolutely correct. The windows on the actual Bad Axe are indeed blocked up.
Thanks for the image of the Senator. I just might give it a shot. I have ideas
for it already.
Thanks again.
Best,
Jonathan
