Re: Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

(...) :o) Nice! But, sorry. Not it. The building is not in Detriot or a large city. And, being that I used to produce art books, it was featured in many. Images of it have been painted by many painters of a specific genre. (hmmm, weren't my diners (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

(...) Thanks! (...) Hmmm. Not a skyscraper building. Only one business in the building. If I built interiors, which I do not, there would most definitely be a counter area that served refreshments. Sorry for being a tease, but that is all. ;o) I am (...) (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.town)

Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

Hello, A while ago, when I was deeper into my diner phase, I built a diner inspired by Mickey’s in St. Paul, MN. I was inspired to build it by looking at the works of painter John Baeder. (His work also inspired my AlMac’s Diner, which I later found (...) (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town)

Re: Sniffing around for a firehouse (Was: Manchester's Millyard in the news)

Being a fan of the old style fire stations like these, I must say, this part of the country is probably one of the best areas for the historic fire stations. Where I grew up they had several of these, and the best part is, most of these are now (...) (18 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
