Re: Behold! The first official LEGO toilet!

Oh, my, Bruce! Isn't that image against the LUGNET Terms and Conditions or something?! Shame on those perverted Danish toymakers. They should be banned from LUGNET. -Brendan ;) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Behold! The first official LEGO toilet!

(...) Wow, look at that! I guess I was too quick when I titled that post "first official LEGO toilet". Much thanks for the correction. And I suppose the argument could be made that minifigs are (URL) just baby maxifigs> (not to be confused with (...) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Hey, By far my favorite part about 265 is this pic from the instructions: (URL) The bottom left image is the official LEGO "girl poopin'" model! Bruce (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Behold! The first official LEGO toilet!

(...) snipped Hey Brendan, Does that mean that "girl" builders have always been ahead of the times??? Wink! Or maybe maxifigs, just couldn't hold out as long! (URL) Janey "Red Brick" P.S.   Behold! The first official LEGO toilet!

Minifigs have been holding it in for more than 25 years now, but relief is finally in sight now that the LEGO company has released its first official minifig bathroom in the form of a port-o-potty in set (URL) 7905 Building Crane>. Here's the (...) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.year.2006, lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, FTX) !

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

Those are really great buildings. In image mid-view.jpg there is a wonderful fire station building of what looks like orange blocks with grey highlighted features. I was wondering if you I could get a close up of the brackets on that building. They (...) (18 years ago, 12-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) -snip- (...) Interesting design and building terminology/philosophy to point out. I try to use what I have, and I do challenge myself to use parts that have been laying around too, I know what you mean. -eric (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Thank you, Eric. (...) I don't buy very many sets any more, but when I do and I end up with 'junk' (parts I don't normally use) I try to challenge myself to put them to use. Sometimes the results look 'forced' and other times I am happy with (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

Jonathan, these buildings are fantastic! When I think about building mech bays, I always think how much more advanced the "Town" builders are when it comes to structure. I look up to folks like you when I build and I think to myself, "the more I (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Ah, yes. Understood. (...) Thanks and feel free to grab any idea you like! Very few of my buildings start from the bottom either. Street level is usually the last thing I build. Sometimes I build from the 2nd level up (and then back down to (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Yeah, down the road I could try that one out for sure, to display on (URL) this>. Problem is that these sections are too large (and too uncompleted;-) for us to take on the road. I would make a copy of yours to show off to the GP in our (URL) (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Thanks, very much! These are two of my favorite colors as well. I built the first version of the dark red building about 4 years ago in red. Just waiting for the opportunity to do it in dark red. With the dark orange, I have taken 3 of my (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

Absolutely beautiful! When I looked at the first thumbnail I thought that it was a reference picture of a real street. I love the colour choice (that orange is my faviourite lego colour and the dark red and sand green suit each other so well). (...) (18 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Thanks, Jeramy. Yep, when I built with the reddish brown, I went into my part bin and tried to build only with what I had in there (which wasn't a huge assortment of parts). I did have a good number of Maersk ships and really wanted to use (...) (18 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Thanks, Tim. I am really pleased with the dark orange building. It was the most difficult building I have made with the limits in parts and getting the 3 wide windows and everything lined up the way I like. Also, I am happy I went "out of NYC" (...) (18 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Thank you very much, Pierre. And, please feel free to use any idea you want from my galleries. That is the main reason I post pictures. Best, Jonathan (18 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)
