Hi All,

Earlier this summer I thought I was done with making firehouses but ended up
making another one . . .

This one is the firehouse in my neighborhood, Engine 226.  I see them go by
quite often and hear them even more often than that!  Their firehouse is a block
away from my apartment.  Built in appx 1889.  The info I have indicates that
they have been in that firehouse since it was built.  (Quite a number of other
engine and ladder companies in the city are not in their original houses).

My version was built in late August but I just recently got around to ordering
the last dark red pieces I needed to complete it.

I am very happy with it.  Particularly the 3 wide windows.

Thoughts and comments always appreciated.

The rest of my firehouses are here:

Hi Jonathan,

Great work as usual. I particularly like the windows and the roof detailing. I
have a couple of nits with it though: Firstly, I think the door would look
better done sideways like the windows and with the white patch (noticeboard?)
above the window. Secondly I think you could add the fan above the door in
relatively easily, a 2x2 round plate on two jumper plates would prbably do the
trick. Apart from those points I think it's an excellent facade and I look
forward to seeing it in its rightful place.

Tim
