  NY Subway station: Welcome to Hell
 
Hi all, I was finally persuaded to build a station to go with my NY Subway train. (URL) I think it makes a nice contrast to my earlier (URL) Moscow Metro> station. (...) I like it a lot. I think the style is representative of the real thing. I think the platform should be a little wider, but other than that. I think you've gotten it nicely. (...) Though I've never ridden the subway I get the impression that this is more representative of the 80s rather than the current, much improved version. (...) Thanks, champ. Graininess was post production (an HSV noise overlay to the image). It's a lot quicker than trying to render it that way. The red light is also touched up slightly to give a bit more glow to the surrounding region. I suspect a (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
