  Art Gallery Building

Hi folks, This is a building I designed and constructed for the rtlToronto train6 layout. It's appeared in the background of a few show photo galleries, but I want to get some detailed photos of it before it was returned to the pile: (URL) hope you (...)   Re: Variations

(...) Those trees are fantastic. It's great to see more trees of non-European/American style. Are they based on a particular species or just general Indian trees. A similar technique with the flowers could probably be used for some types Australian (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Variations

(...) flower one, in particular, are great. It's always neat to see new variations on plant life. The shingles on the house do look very nice, but since I know nothing about South Indian architecture I can't really critique it much! Derek (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Variations

(...) Very nice! The house reminds me of one I used live in during my Madurai days. The "swing" is a nice touch. Not sure of the color combination used -- I mean that I have not seen one like that (must be me). The tree reminded me of jasmine -- but (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

  Variations

I have experimented with a few of my ideas about Trees. The house is based on South Indian architecture with shingle roof tiles. This is the link (URL) will be appreciated. Anu Pehrson (19 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc) !

COLTC at Great train EXpo, Columbus OH, Jan 14-15

This weekend, The Central Ohio Lego Train Club will have a ~30 by 30 foot area at the Great Train Expo Show. <www.greattrainexpo.com> We will have a large layout, with no less than 7 train loops. We'll have tall skyscrapers, a new bridge, and a (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.town, FTX) !

  Re: a town structure contest!!

(...) Excellent, Ondrew! We haven't had a Town building contest in years. I'd be happy to donate a Lions Gate Models instruction CD (or more) as a prize, but would that mean I can't enter? Kevin (19 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

My first entry: Moscow Metro station entrance

(...) This is my first entry to the town structures contest: a rendition of a Moscow Metro station entrance. It's 100% available and I plan to add one to a planned dioarama (with the underground level as well). (URL) If you would like more angles to (...)   Re: a town structure contest!!

(...) [Snipple] Ondrew, Thanks for running this contest. I'm contemplating an entry. I work in a downtown area, so there's no shortage of building ideas. I just want you to know that I'm thinking of your contest with appreciation for the fun (...) (19 years ago, 10-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 4 New MOCs

(...) I really like the Civil War Iron Clad. I think a version of the Monitor was posted not too long ago. This has a Meramec flavor to it. Great work. (19 years ago, 8-Jan-06, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.military)

Re: a town structure contest!! <- $200 in prizes

(...) [...] (...) Ondrew, I am writing just to say that it is very cool that you have decided to do something like this. I also wrote to say that I won't be entering... it's not because I don't want to build and share. It's just that I learned that (...)   Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

(...) RAmen, brother! A monster of a MOC, and a great presentation, too! Yours, Christian (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

Wow. Clearly you have been touched by His Noodly Appendage. What a wonderful MOC. (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Registry for Track Designer - new version available

(...) Pierre, Thanks for putting this together. My modified points should be showing up in the mail any day now, and now I don't have to use straight and curved tracks to stand in for the modified points! Chris (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGO-ized Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

(...) Thanks! Of course, with it being the 4th of January, this year's MOC list has to be pretty short... ;) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: WOW!

--SNIP-- (...) I think I can see a gap on the round brick but the slopes look flush. Could be microsnottery or just some discrete edges. Tim (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

  Re: WOW!

(...) Does anyone know how this was done? (URL) do I detect a small gap above the bend? Andreas (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

  Re: 4 New MOCs

(...) Brandon I enjoyed looking at your NYC diorama when you brought it to a WAMALUG meeting. I seem to recall lots of nice details that aren't really noticeable in your photos. It's a shame more people can't see how good your stuff is. -Daniel (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jan-06, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.military)
