  Re: Armitage Hotel

(...) Hmm.. that's a good point. If this building makes it to another event, I'm going to query folks who make the "firehouse" comment and see if I can see what they see. (...) Thanks! (...) I know Chris Leach frequently has a firehouse on the (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: MAN Midibus in city scale with opening doors

(...) Yes, very clever SNOT work on the doors! It avoids a lot of tiles and works just great... I think I may need to copy some aspects of that on my next bus... -Matt :) (19 years ago, 14-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Armitage Hotel

(...) I knew I recognized your name... .Castle has been quiet too long... I remember some of your MOCs with fondness, especially the bookstore! On a completely random note. As I was taking apart Cliffton I noticed how heavy the different pieces (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Armitage Hotel

(...) I am wondering if people are noticing the huge red windows (made of classic 1x2x2 windows) and mistaking them for bay doors? Depending on their line of sight, maybe the street level shops are out of view? We have some big firehouses here in (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Armitage Hotel

(...) I've done more in castle than in town, actually. (URL) And even with castle there is room for strange interpretations. I've heard a lot of "Is this supposed to be something from Lord of the Rings?" Specifically when they are look at scene (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: MAN Midibus in city scale with opening doors

(...) I'm glad you find it very nice! Have you seen the brickshelf folder? There are 2 close-up of the door system. I hope it is clear to understand how it works, or not? Bye, Luca (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: MAN Midibus in city scale with opening doors

(...) Thank you really much! I could build a castle bus for king Leo... what would you say? ;-) Bye, Luca (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Armitage Hotel

(...) Perhaps you could try Castles... they're relatively self explanotory : ) A porter or two obviously placed and an airport shuttle may help... ; ) God Bless, Nathan (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Armitage Hotel

(...) That color scheme, which I agree is nice, also apparently means "firehouse" to the mundanes. At every show it's been to, I hear someone in the crowd say something about the "firestation". Despite the lack of bay doors, and the shops on the (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Armitage Hotel

This is really nice. It has an attractive colour scheme and a certain 'elegance' to it. It is this type of MOC that make me think I'll have to build town one day... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Armitage Hotel

(URL) I'm happy to present the Armitage Hotel. I had this completed back in Feburary, but alas, I'm really slow to get pictures taken. In fact, I still haven't had a deticated photo shoot. But I grabbed pictures from the various layouts it's been in (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX) !!

Even after my usual 'I am not a townie...' disclaimer, this is really great! I am very impressed with the scale and compact nature of the detail... I pay you the highest compliment at my disposal: You should build castle ; ) God Bless, Nathan (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: MAN Midibus in city scale with opening doors

(...) Very nice - looks just like the real thing. Nice use of stickers too. And I like your rear view mirror on the side. I'll check back again when the brickshelf folder is public to see how you did the doors... -Matt :) (19 years ago, 11-Jun-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

MAN Midibus in city scale with opening doors

Hi to all!!! I’m very happy to show you my last town creation. I've built a little town bus fit for the Lego City scale, because it is 6 studs wide and about 6 bricks high.
