  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) One can never have enough 1x2 plates :-) The tiles are supported on the outside edge, behind the part that sticks out on the curve. Then they're pushed into the plates on the inside corner so that they stack at one end. They're not actually (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) The eventual aim was to incorporate this one and a mirror image one as part of a station entrance, along with a ramp for disabled passengers (At shows I have a minifigure in a wheelchair on the platform, with a helpful porter!) Having seen the (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Two small stores

(...) Good call on the garbage cans. I'm not sure where else I could put them, though, and having those kinds of details (even misplaced) adds a lot to the store. And the tan thing? When a 7 year old helps decorate the interior, things get a bit (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) Wow it looks great! The only problem with such extravagant designs is that they're so parts intensive (look at all those 1x2 plates!)... I've always wanted to do a double set of these staircases! Judging from other people's responses, it (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Today's offer from JJ's furniture store: Spanish Wall

(...) JoJo, you awakened the voyeur within me. I especially like the towel hanging from the side, it's a nice effect. Thanks for sharing. So I HAVE to know: Is she completely naked behind that? ;-) Legoswami Samarth (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

Today's offer from JJ's furniture store: Spanish Wall

Hello! Though I do not know if "Spanish Wall" is what this kind of furniture is called in English. Anyway, in German it is. - This one is someway in the style of the Art Nouveau and that's not exactly suitable for my current MOC. So I thought I'd (...)   Re: Spiral Staircase

Outstanding. The shape of these is really beautiful. Do you plan on incorporating these into a building, or were you just doing the stairs as a standalone? Bruce (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Hey Jojo, Very cool. I especially like the rabbit over on the left. I've played around with (URL) designs> in the past, but never come up with anything I really liked. I'll have to borrow that idea someday. Bruce (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) Mark- The stairs look fabulous and I give you my highest commpliment: I look forward to stealing the idea at the first opportunity. BTW: Technically, these are not "spiral" staircases but simply curved staircases (although in the grand (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) Very nice. It might even look better when you use 1x1 cones instead of round bricks in the ballustrade. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Spiral Staircase

Here's a spiral staircase for those of you who do stately homes or castles. You might like to make a mirror image pair of them for a mansion.
