Hi Larry,

I wasn’t sure how to anticipate the price point for this set in the US. My best guess would be to base it on the UK price of GBP 34.99 instead of the price in EUR (49.99). I’m basing this on comparing the price of 4504 which is GBP 99.99 and USD 99.99 (as opposed to EUR 149.99).

If I’m right, 667 pieces for US $35 seems a pretty good price point to me. Well below the 10 cents/piece mark. Am I missing something?

Regardless, I’m a bit excited about this set and assume it will be available to the US in due time (I find the “only on the European side of the pond” theory a bit unlikely for a set with such universal appeal).

Part of my excitement comes from realizing this is an official Designers Set and will come with instructions for 3 models and an idea book. A look at the alternate model they show on Shop-At-Home looks pretty cool to me, too:
