Re: And now for something different

I love it. Great use of some odd parts. Will you be doing anymore in the future? I'd love to see one in blue. (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: And now for something different

(...) Thanks! (...) The front half was the fun part...it came together almost on its own. The back of the fenders came from a Jeep MOC I saw a few months ago (...) The really cool thing about that Adventurers cab is that it can fit 2 people in a (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: And now for something different

(...) Front fender slopes -- niice. Cowling and engine detail -- niiice. Colored door panels on what I previously thought was a useless Adventurers car piece -- niiiice. Overall, it's just plain spiffy. The way you've covered up or otherwise (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Burned-Out Building

(...) Hey! It worked! That is exactly the image that kept creeping into my head while I was building it! That, and a post office design in a diorama at the Portland (Maine) airport, where they have a number of models on display. The one I'm thinking (...)   Re: New Road Plates

(...) Oh noooo. Does this mean, that 6320/6321/6322/6323 will be out of production soon??? I'll better go buy some, while they still have'em! Regards from Kecia (Also from Denmark) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general)

  New Road Plates

Hi all, In my local TRU in Copenhagen I picked up a new set of road plates yesterday: 4108, 4109, 4110 and 4111. They differ from the usual green plates in having no pavements, yellow lines instead of white, and the tracks are 20 studs wide, leaving (...)   Re: Dan's Diner and Mobil Station

(...) Hello, Hendo. This, meaning the diner, does remind me of a diner from that era...and also of that diner that Dot lady had on ReBoot (a semi-popular show that was on ABC, then Fox, then on some British network, and, most recently, Cartoon (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: Dan's Diner and Mobil Station

(...) These MOCs conjure up an image of a Lego-animated movie with the setting along old Route 66 in the 1950s, complete with a soundtrack of music from that era of course! Great models! -Hendo (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Burned-Out Building

You know, so many (& myself) make buildings intact, when something like this comes along we forget that they're made out of little pieces. I've never seen any "damaged" Lego creations before. It's a very unique, and great building! (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: Dan's Diner and Mobil Station

Hats off to the toilet seats! Some really nice work on both models. The use of chrome lightsaber hilts was brilliant (and the hats - I just can't get over that). Regards, Ken (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

TKOI Create a Creature Contest Results.... FINALLY

Well, this has been an embaressing time for me, it's been too long since the end of the contest to be doing this. Obviously I'm not cut out for this type of thing. ANYWAY...   Motorizing a carwash

Hi All, I am a castle fan (who builds other themes as well). I have developed a need for a motorized carwash piece (the blue ones from the new Gas'n Go), so I thought I would ask here in town. Has anyone done this? Can anyone help me? Thanks Much (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Quick Unload DumpTruck!

I decided that I needed a quick unload dump truck: (URL) built so that the bed door will swing out of the way far enough... PLMKWYT Josh (22 years ago, 28-Jul-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc)
