The standard of promotional Town sets released in the last few years offers the
only glimmer of hope for Townies.

The 1998 Shell Soccer sets were the equal of any Town sets from the regular
range while the 1999 Shell sets weren't too far behind.

(...) the (...) I think LEGO Should have Town (or other juniorized sets) in Junior form & in the old System form. I think they might make some more money (If any LEGO Designers are looking). In 1999 the first LEGO Set I bought was the "Rock Raiders" (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

During a recent cleanout of my lego magazines I found some early 90's ones. What happened to the town models between 1990 and 1995? They seemed to be more detailed than the 1999/2000 models. There was also more peices too. (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)
