Re: Brickley Admiralty building - another ISCC entry

(...) By the way, has anybody noticed that the bottom third of the skip lorry cab is built upside-down? Lego don't do 1x2 inverted slopes in orange, so I had to improvise. It's the brackets and silver grilles on the front, and a 1x4 technic steering (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)

Bram's LEGO Site is now accepting links!

[FUT: .publish] Hi all you LEGO website owners, Do you have an 88x31 pixel button link that you want to display on my front page, which gets over 50 unique hits per day? If so, fill in this form: (URL) you want to link to my site using a banner or (...)   New MOC: Legoland Cafe

I bought a bulk LEGO lot on eBay recently and it included a number of rather old LEGO pieces, including some pre-printed bricks I'd never seen before. There were two such labeled "CAFE" and so I started wondering how I could use them. I ended up (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: New Truck MOC's

(...) Very cool. I especially like the use of the panel ("thinwall") pieces on the containers/trailers. (...) I've had better luck with 6-wide construction in that regard, you might want to try that. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)

  New town MOC: Children's playground

This could be an adjunct to an elementary school or park area. Equipment includes a slide, merry-go-round, seesaw (a.k.a. teeter-totter), and a couple types of climbing bars. View it on my web page: (URL) on BrickShelf: (URL) XFUT=lugnet.build (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Broken Monorail Motor

Has anyone managed to take a monorail motor apart? I just received an auction lot which included a non-functioning motor (actually, the motor runs but something's wrong in the gearbox). FUT: lugnet.trains (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Re: New Truck MOC's

  Re: cornice

(...) ah yes, I did see that. I like how you varied the brick color on the body of the building. I see how the roof would make you build it from the top down as well. Thanks for the link. Jonathan (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  New Truck MOC's

Hello, I posted a few pix of a longhaul garbage truck and a rolloff container truck on Brickshelf. If you get a moment please LMKWYT. I am pleased with the cab on the longhaul truck & overall I like the rolloff truck, but it doesn't look beefy or as (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town)

  A Car Factory for Train3

I finished with my car factory today. This is the white building that is featured in the timelapse demonstration video. Here's a photo of the outside of the factory: (URL) roof is built with two 32x32 blue baseplates. On this side you can see a (...)   New MOC: 12 wide 1949 Mercury Foordoor Sedan

This is what chrome was made for! This model is the same scale as the cars at Legoland. The front doesn't quite look like the 1949/50 Mercury, but I still like it. (URL) LMKWYT!   Re: cornice

(...) Yes - it's another entry to the ISSC. It's just a small rural station building, and you'll see my windmill too: (URL) put this up before, but it's entered under Trains, not Town. Jason J Railton (23 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

Thie first building of Legopolis is finally beginning to take form.

Many of you may not remember me asking about how to build buildings with windows at 45 degree angles and such. For those of you who do, you are now going to see why. My first building for my lego city of Legopolis is FAR from finished, but I justed (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: cornice

(...) Me too - mainly because it's so hard to get a good selection of roof pieces. With my Brickley Station building, I re-built the roof over and over again, every time I found another dark grey slope hidden on a Star Wars model. Finally I was (...)   Re: Brickley Admiralty building - another ISCC entry

(...) I do like that scene. I think it could do with another boat perhaps. I don't let the number of bricks in other people's collections get to me, though I did buy a few extra bulk packs just for that one. I like the way your buildings are small (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)
