New MOC: 8 wide Lotus Esprit S4

I was chatting with Mladen one day about the difficulty of creating tapered windshields at small scales, and he suggested using flex tubes in this manner. I had dismissed this idea because I thought it would be too weak for my tastes, but it turns (...)   Re: Anyone model realistic police cars?

(...) I don't know if there are many police cars. I copied a plymoth acclaim for my cars. I also think you should have a little bit of a trunk on your car, it looks more like a ford escort right now, but its a cool design. Josh (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Station platforms

(...) Hi ROSCO, The platforms that come with the LEGO Train Stations like <set:4554> and <set:2150>, and the more current <set:4556> and <set:4557> are two bricks high. This seems to work well for the buildings I have created. These platforms come (...) (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Re: Station platforms

(...) Dunno about anyone else but I tend to go with somewhere between 2.1 (two bricks, one plate) and 3.0 in thickness.   Station platforms

Hi. I'm just wondering how high people usually make their station platforms? I mean, assuming the track is sitting on a baseplate (not pushed down), how many plates to the top of the platform?
