  New MOC : Excavator

Hi! I've build an excavator with my new chainlinks. :-) Here is what it looks like: (URL) needs some changes but it's a first shot. LMKWYT! Pierre (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.org.ca.monlug)

  Sliding door MOC & turntables.

Here is a MOC I created of an accordian style sliding door. (URL) I had more pieces (for the turntable) I could have made it longer. One of the biggest challenges was building a 1x1 turntable. It was built using: Technic Pin Joiner (tan) (URL) 1/2 (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: Great town buildings available as part of Shell Promo sets

Sorry I meant set 6375 (Gas Station) from 1980. It would be fun to modernize that one with a food store, car wash and tire shop while keeping the style, oh yes... (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Great town buildings available as part of Shell Promo sets

Brad Hamilton has fairly reviewed these sets, but I had such a positive reaction to them I wanted to make a review. These sets are actually models built from bricks and plates. The presence of the original Shell sticker from 1980 makes me imagine (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: My construction site

(...) Its a wonder that no one at TLC had the initiative to try to use znap in 6600 Highway Construction. I think it would have been a wonderful way to bring znap across to the mainstream brick people (many of which do not seem to grok znap). Think (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: My construction site

(...) I like the use of Znap elements for beams. I was thinking of biulding a contruction site like that a few years back, but i still havn't got around to it. But tomorrow i'll be on my way to MN, i gotta get switch tracks, 2 black 2x2 tile packs, (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

  My construction site

Well, I rebuilt my construction site from train2 and made it a little larger and began to add more detail. I still have to replace the juniorized construction vehicles but I like how this project is coming along. Thanks to Tim Strutt for some of the (...)   Brunswick Fire Department pics

Hello, this is my first time posting pictures on Brickshelf.... I have taken some pictures (using my vision command camera) of a fire station I built (my own creation), and 2 apparatus. There is a tower unit, and a hazmat unit, both are my own (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

  Amphibious tour bus

Here are a few pictures of the LEGO amphibus I built, inspired by the ones in Ottawa. The colour scheme is from the Lady Dive, and the design is from the Lady Duck (the little amphibus that I was on) and the Lady Dive. (URL) nice side view of the (...)   Re: New Lighthouse MOC

An excellent building Jason. The landscaping makes it look even better. I know you didn't want to put that minifig on there (because it clouds the architectural lines), but I think it makes the building seem more homely. For those of you who haven't (...) Yes, I have it. What you get that's cool: * Some unique minifigs, but I think most of them are now available in other, smaller, less expensive Studios sets. * Two decent backdrops, but these you can make yourself. * A camera that actually has LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.town)

  RE: New Lighthouse MOC

(...) WoW! I'm just reading "Ahab's Wife" (I know it's not a guy-book) and it gives some insight into lighthouse keeping, whaling, and life in Nantucket and Kentucky in the 1800's. A good read if you like that kind of thing. Cheers, Ralph (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)
