What critera are used to determine if a robot is a mech or not? Does it have to be used for war? Does it have to be big? Does it have to be humanoid? Is a Throwbot a kind of mech (they are big compared to minifigs, they have battles, and most are (...) (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.mecha)

What is a mech supposed to be? Did "Mechs" come from a TV show or something? I don't know a thing about them besides they're pretty neat looking. I never heard the name "mech" until I looked it up online. Can someone PLEASE tell me all the things(or (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.town)
