This thread is pretty old, but......
Hi Brendan! The oldest LEGO poster that I am aware of is from 1975-76 and it is
for set #396 Thatcher Perkins model locomotive, a very attractive 1863
locomotive. The building instructions for this big model are rather extensive, so
TLC put a picture of the completed model on the reverse of the instructions, and
voila it turns into a large poster.
