Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

(...) Seeing the post for Vestas set 4999, some of my ideas have been covered, but I shall still post what I was thinking for a theme. Some ideas might have been posted before, so I apologize for any redundancy. Name of Theme: Electric Power Short (...) (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

Nocturnal Rampage - A Record Store

This little gem of a record store made its debut at Brickworld 2008. Tucked in next to the White Castle and the graveyard, the local kids can pick up their favorite metal or punk records. I heard one of the mothers at Brickworld explain to her kids (...) (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

(...) *snip* I love this idea sir. This would be great. I just see myself making a model of the San Diego Zoo with the parts from this! DRS (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

Nice. I like the scuppers. (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: F/V Northwestern (from 'Deadliest Catch')

(...) Very nice. It's ironic that the LEGO crab piece is almost too small to be in scale to the size of the minifig, as compared to some of the giant crabs they catch on the show. David (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, lugnet.boats, FTX)

Re: F/V Northwestern (from 'Deadliest Catch')

(...) Neat ship (and interesting TV series). Looks great with the blue baseplates under it. x-posted to lugnet.boats. Please consider your FUT, since some here are FUT·less about that sort of thing. They will be replying here soon, no doubt. :P (...) (16 years ago, 18-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  F/V Northwestern (from 'Deadliest Catch')

Stacy and I are huge fans of the Discovery series "Deadliest Catch". Our favorite boat on the show is the F/V Northwestern followed closely by the "Cornelia Marie" and the "Time Bandit". This is my first MOC in what (I hope) will be a series of all (...) (16 years ago, 17-Jul-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Suburban Two-Story

I finally managed to get some time to take pictures of a couple more MOC's that Stacy and I completed just before Brickworld 2008. This MOC is a small two-story house you might find in a quiet suburban neighborhood. This MOC goes well with Stacy's (...) (16 years ago, 17-Jul-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX)

Theme: Zoo/Animal Park Description: A series of large, medium and small sets that can be used individually or combined to form a large Zoo/Animal Park. The theme could also be marketed as an educational tool to promote preservation and conservation (...) (16 years ago, 17-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

(...) The last one could be called "Mythbrickers" to be more Legocentric. There's also the Ax Men show that could inspire sets with all manner of logging machinery. That also ties back to the sawmill idea previously mentioned. One thing I thought (...) (16 years ago, 16-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Hide the fruit!

It slices, it dices, it even makes juice. How much would you pay? But wait--there's more! An army of drones at (whose?) command! Sweet, tasty, and delicious, EJP, but too many initials. Oh, wait. While your creation is raining bombs down on the poor (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

(...) I agree, Sets that have story, some potential for action and are geared toward relationships would be ideal for attracting boys and Girls. I think TLG would be wise to look at the Playmobile line to see what kind of sets would meet these (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)
