  Re: Three little MOCs

Hi all, After LEGO 'published' the Blacksmith set by Dan as the first in their MOC series, none have followed. Do you know why they only published one MOC in their series? Also, was it 2001 when they published this set? And was the price 39,99$? (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Three little MOCs

--snip-- (...) Thanks. It took me two hours of highly complicated SNOT solutions which looked terrible until I figured out that one... I was very, very, very frustrated. Tim (18 years ago, 16-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Three little MOCs

(...) They're all great, but I love the freight car in particular. I don't think I've seen the undersides of plates used as greebling in quite that way before. It's an effect I must endeavor to plagiarize at the next opportunity. Thanks!! Spotlit. (...) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Three little MOCs

(3 URLs) (Click pics for BS) (URL) Flickr> Hi all, A few MOCs (although the Forklift is more an EOC given the number of people I borrowed from). The freight car is a Cawoods wagon in British Fuel(s) paint. The forklift is based on work from Alban (...) (18 years ago, 14-Apr-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX) !

  Re: Chinese pagoda

(...) Looks very nice! I especially like the different style railings on each level and the parts used to create them. Best, Jonathan (18 years ago, 13-Apr-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Honolulu Chinatown building MOC

(...) Nice work Roy. Now you have to do the street over with all the market vendors and stands outside. The Chinatown Historic District is always fun to visit. So when are you going to tackle doing the Hawaii State Captial building just down King (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Chinese pagoda

I constructed this microscale Chinese pagoda as a centerpiece for a dinner party (for 25!) that we hosted two weeks ago. It isn't accurate to any specific pagoda, but is broadly based on some of the techniques and styles I observed in some source (...)   Re: Honolulu Chinatown building MOC

(...) Jonathan, Thanks! I have to say that your NY buildings are fantastic - I grew up there and my family is still there, so they are extra special! I agree that tiles might work better. I will try some different arrangements to see how they work; (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)
