  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Sorry about the moderation but it's John Neal's fault. It was all nicely moderated when I first made the post but I added the mutli-colour picture later. Tim (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Oh, baby, those colors are wizard! They are almost painful to behold, knowing that they can't exist anywhere but virtually... Tasty stuff, Tim! JOHN (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Dark green is sweet. Great MOC, BTW. I am waiting for brickshelf folder to be moderated . . . Jonathan (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Apparently I do take requests ;) (URL) Apologies for the fluorescent light orange but I don't use it enough to have tweaked the colour to taste. Tim (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) I remember in the 70's, they marketed the B in racing green, and the Midget in orange (in LEGO colors-- medium orange). But I saw a lot of Bs in orange, too. Oh, that would be a cool to see rendered:-d JOHN (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Hi Tim, You MOC far faster than I can post feedback. Thank you for the overall work you shared with us. Didier (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Good point (and John's too). I aim to try out the chrome one at some point but figured I'd start with the simpler one. Tim (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) No quite the classic, its the rubber bumper version, but still great. Another one to add to the list to build! ;) Tim (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) I coveted them as a kid (although the Spitfire was my fav) and your nose render is a dead-ringer for the B. I have to say, however, that it should be rendered in British racing (dark) green;-d Well done, Tim. JOHN (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MGB Roadster

(...) Trés cool! Very nice work, Tim. Five wide is a perfect choice. Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  MGB Roadster

Hi all, (2 URLs) BS> (URL) Flickr> Hi all, My version of the classic car. Five-wide is a bit big for it in my usual scale but I think it was worth it. Tim (18 years ago, 9-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: Manhattan's Engine 14

As usual, great work from mr. Lopes. For the rest of us NYC nerds, this firehouse is actually on 18th street, 1 block north and a hundred odd feet west of union square. A good photo of the actual firehouse is here: (URL) funny thing is that I've (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: My new buildings

(...) Hi Ludo, My apologies for the late reply, I am offline on the weekends . . . I did notice the stacked/hidden windows you mention. They look really good. I was thinking maybe windows made like those here might be nice in dark bley: (URL) on the (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: My new buildings

(...) Hi Jonathan, Thanks a lot for the reply. I know that i should use black window frames instead of red ones, but at the time of building, one year ago, they wheren't available in black. I think they are now, so it's possible that i change them (...) (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Manhattan's Engine 14

(...) Thanks. I actually hadn't thought to use light gray. I wanted to use dark gray to tie it in with other dark gray elements on the facade. Looking back, with consideration for the shadows and all, light gray may have been more appropriate. (...) (...) (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Manhattan's Engine 14

(...) Nice work. Did you consider using BBB wheels in Light gray? From the picture it isn't clear if the wheels are black or dark gray. Thanks for choosing Big Ben Bricks for your excellent MOCs. Ben Fleskes Big Ben Bricks LLC (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Bad Axe Theater and Generic Theater

(...) Thanks, Ben. This use actually wasn't planned. I used the extra wheels that were sent. (Thanks for those!). The planned building with your wheels was this firehouse: (URL) I used them above the windows, under the arches. Thanks again! Jonathan (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: Bad Axe Theater and Generic Theater

(...) Hi, nice use of the BBB wheels. You mentioned you had something, non train, planned and I was curious to find out what you were up to. Nice job. Ben Fleskes Big Ben Bricks LLC (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: Bad Axe Theater and Generic Theater

(...) Hi Nathan, Thanks! It is all about the little details. And, there is no bley issue with me. ;o) Best, Jonathan (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)
