  Re: New Mustang

SNIPPIFICATION Wow! That thing looks brilliant! I love it! Several great things I see here, like the EXCELLENT use of the new click hinges, as well as how the thick truck tyre wheels don't look that bad (a standard feature on other cars by you as (...)   Re: Hardware Store

Mitch, your detailing keeps getting better and better. Great looking building from the outside, but it's the inside that captures my heart. That loft apartment has to be one of the best LEGO interiors I've ever seen. Perfectly rendered. Bravo. (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

(...) Very nice, the loft reminds me of my old apartmnet all the way down to the pizza on the floor! Great work! - Alex (20 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

(...) That upstairs loft is AMAZING--I had a good chuckle when I saw the pizzas, makeshift coffee table, the pirate flag on the wall... Nicely done. Calum (20 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: Hardware Store

(...) That building is packed with some of the best details I've ever seen. And that's on top of the fact that I like it 'cause I work at a hardware store. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (20 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: Cloud City Shuttle

(...) Here are my Top Ten BS explanations (endorsed by Lucas(1) himself): 10. Focus groups respond better to the meatier “twin pod” than to the wimpy “single pod” version 9. The two-pod model is actually the instructor/student training vehicle 8. A (...) (20 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Re: Cloud City Shuttle

(...) Sorry, you're not getting any B.S. from me. I've actually started on this moc as a standalone hovercraft of sorts. But I had two of the windscreens and the other odd red piece that came out to what it is. I'll probably try to change the design (...)   James H. "Red" Duke, MD vignettes

I have finally got around to posting the vignettes that I made in honor of Dr. James H. "Red" Duke a few years back. These were given to Dr. Duke as a Christmas present from our research team back in 2002. The folder (when moderated): (URL) Favorite (...)   Re: Cloud City Shuttle

Nice MOC! My question is why the twin pod design? I've always wondered what the purpose of a twin pod design in the cloud car has if there is only one engine between the two. I could see a benefit to the car if the pods were detachable, but one (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Snotcycle - spacecraft built on a one-piece motorcycle

(...) Kevin, Welcome back out of the dark ages! This reminds me somewhat of a GoldWing or Pacific Coast, in motorcycle terms. Making odd wide vehicles is hard, it's tough to get the symmetry right. It does look a little clunky and square though, (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

Re: Detroit's Fisher Building in minifig scale.

(...) I have to come see this. I live in Northville, and though I don't have anything built for such a layout, I must see this in person. It's absolutely gorgeous. My father worked in the Fisher building way back when, so I have a lot of fond (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Snotcycle - spacecraft built on a one-piece motorcycle

This is a spacecraft I built using an idea I had when I was a kid that I was never able to complete. It uses only the top 2 studs on the rear of a one-piece motorcycle and the taillight stud for an anchor. When I was younger it seemed like a really (...) Wow. That is ungodly huge. Nicely detailed too. Every other building on the layout's gonna be a speck next to it. -Stefan- (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Detroit's Fisher Building in minifig scale.

I just finished a very large Lego minifig scale replica of the Fisher Building, a 28 story skyscraper in Detroit, Michigan. This structure will be displayed as part of the MichLUG train display at GATS in Novi Michigan, March 5th and 6th, 2005. (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX) !!
