Re: New MOC: 30,000 piece neighborhood with minfigs that walk around

(...) Thanks! How much trial & error? Well, way too much -- but still not enough! :) In retrospect, there were a few things that I could have planned better to make it much less of a pain: For example, the paths of the minifigs cross each other. I (...) (20 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC: 30,000 piece neighborhood with minfigs that walk around

(...) Wow that is amazing! I can only imagine how much trial and error was required to get the whole minifig-walking aspect right. Your LEGO studio is to-die-for - having foam playmats on the floor is an excellent idea. Did you glue the entire (...) (20 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC: 30,000 piece neighborhood with minfigs that walk around

(...) It was more than amusing; it was hilarious. I especially recommend watching it at some point where you're not supposed to be giggling at your desk, such as at work. Just make sure you won't get into TOO much trouble when you bust up. Seriously (...) (20 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

New MOC: 30,000 piece neighborhood with minfigs that walk around

Hi everyone! (Alternate subject for this post: "Why has Sean been so quiet for the last few months?") I was comissioned by a Dallas-area company called Healthvision to build a large LEGO model for their booth at a trade show, also in Dallas. The (...)   Three Trunk Tree and Tall Thin Tree

Here's a three-trunk tree that I built for my railway layout: (URL) I used 2L black technic liftarms to attach more flex tubes to the central one. The white blobs underneath are geese!   Re: Today's offer from JJ's furniture store: Spanish Wall

Hey Jojo, Very nice. I always thought of these screens as Japanese for some reason. This MOC makes me think of that Monty Python sketch in the marriage counselor's office. Bruce (20 years ago, 12-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Today's offer from JJ's furniture store: Spanish Wall

(...) I don't think so; look closely and it's not too hard to make out a spec of white. My guess is that the hip piece (the part that the seperate legs hinge onto) is white. So, she's got panties on. Not that I care...or anything. --Josh (20 years ago, 11-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)
