  Re: Quad-C Inline Chopper

My big question would be 'what were you smoking when you thought this up?'. Fantastic, Jeff! I love the motorbike. I was standing near Bryce during the first three hours of your competition, so I knew what he was cooking up. Yours is complete, and (...)   Re: Quad-C Inline Chopper

(...) sure did Jeff. This is uber cool. I don't think I'd want to ride it however. But then I don't care to ride much of the crapola that comes out of the OCC. What I really want to know is, while building the bike, how many things were thrown and (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Building instruction Turaga Vakama #8540

My sons copy of the building instruction for Turaga Vakama #8540 is missing a large part of it. Does anyone have this building instrucion? If so, would it be possible for You to scan both sides of the instruction and e-mail me the scans? (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: LEGO Sets Ranked by LUGNET Members (Fri 1 Apr 2005)

(...) I'm not sure how seriously to take this poll. It doesn't have a single Bionicle set! It looks like a brick separator is a better "set" than, say, the (URL) Rahkshi>, which (in my book) is one of the top five designs to ever come out of (...) (...) Yeah, it's actually a kind of cool process, molding two different types of plastic together into one piece. But a lot of people wanted it to be separate pieces. (...)   Re: 2005 release dates

Not to appear to stupid here, but What is a Visorak? Are there pictures out there? I got one of the TOA Hordiak ad became despondent when I discovered it's cool looking weapon was 1 part not 2 separate parts. The silver is a stiff rubbery plastic (...)   Re: 2005 release dates

(...) I think there's a couple of reasons. In the past, some of the new releases have been shipping in non-North American areas first, for a short time (a matter of a few weeks)... the Toa Nuva, for instance, came out in the UK first. From what I (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  2005 release dates

Visoraks are out already in the UK, with no sign of the Toa Hordika, which I find a bit surprising given they came out before xmas in the USA. Does anyone know why? Are they being skipped here? Maybe they will be released in the fall, when (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  First experience with LEGO Mosaic

I ordered a LEGO Mosaic recently, and had a few thoughts about how life and LEGO are alike in some ways.   Space Wheels Entry: Nezumi attack vehicle

(URL) I hope I didn't miss the deadline for the Space Wheels contest (I sent the e-mail a little over 20 minutes ago).   Re: Bionicle Gift Recomendations?

(...) Dave, Toa Likhan just came out (or it's going to be real soon). That's probably in the 30 dollar price range, but that's the newest thing that's out. Other than that, Vakhi may be what to get. To know which Vahki sets go togher, it's real (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Bionicle Gift Recomendations?

Ok. My Lego knowledge was tested and I was found lacking. When it comes to Bionicle, I'm sadly out of the loop. What's cool gift-wise in the world of Bionicle these days? I see on BZpower that there's some new "Toa Hordika" coming out for 2005, (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) You guys get a comic in the back? Huh. Do you get the Kanoka Cards as well? (...) Odd little mistakes like this aren't all that uncommon, actually.   Bionicle print error in instruction book 8602

Not that it's a huge issue, but the instruction book for 8602 has a 'comic' in the back--Toa Nuju and Toa Nokama names are switched for their 'mugshot'. This is for the 'Canadianized' version (english/francais text) of the set--maybe it's printed (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.technic.bionicle)
