Yeah I also noticed that with issue with the wheel linkage setup; it seems
that it is actually pretty smooth when the "wheel unit" is bent to its
neutral position (suspension spring partially retracted and the axle network
is in its straight/linear position), but surprisingly gains a lot of
friction when the unit is pushed up or down (as it is in its default
extended position).
Still, it has to be the best set in the last few years IMHO, and the price
is quite attractive. (the 8448 is actually a bit more expensive but slightly
less advanced in terms of functionality) Maybe you will get really lucky as
I did and Lego will slightly mess up your 8466 order, sending you two 8466's
for the price of one! :-D (when I called them to report the error, they just
said I could keep the extra :-) )

| I am wondering if this set have new parts. I am asking for parts that you can not find in a cheaper set, or in older sets (including star wars, and star wars technic). The color is not important. Maybe the shocks, the spring is different, but could (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic)
