They are hollow, so you could insert a straigt wire of a more rigid
material, maybe a thin type of knitting needle (the ones used for socks,
pointed at both ends) Maybe it even helps to let a tube reinfored this way
rest for a couple of days. It would be a nice experiment to see if the tube
stays relatively straight after you remove the needle. Or the other way
around, constrain the tube in a (not too closely) fitting external tube.

| One thing I would suggest trying (on a tube you can afford to loose!) is to put a piece of wire (or whatever) in the tube, and then put it in a sunny place for a day. Somewhere like a well lit window-sill. Allow it to cool by itself at the end of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)
