| (...) and (...) and (...) Ok, here's what I do :-) You are correct in saying these things are almost never straight, in fact I think the key to their use is to assume that they will *never* be straight. Look at them as splines with the only means (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic)

They are hollow, so you could insert a straigt wire of a more rigid material, maybe a thin type of knitting needle (the ones used for socks, pointed at both ends) Maybe it even helps to let a tube reinfored this way rest for a couple of days.
