sort of see what it's made from (GREAT robot by the way, I know it's old
news to most of you, but it was my first time...heh) and it suddenly • struck
me how many turrets that thing takes...

wow, I count, like, 6...man, those things are expensive (about $10 a • piece I
think) and I only have one from my 8446...heh, I guess no MIBO for me for • a
while...anyone know of an english site that lists the parts you need for
that thing? Other than the turrets, it looks fairly standard...

I can see 7 turn tables (one for the head), 2 RCX bricks (even more • expensive)
which implies up to 6 motors, 2 Rotation sensors, about a hundred chain • links,
and ... 16 think rubber bands/tires (on it's feet - I don't think I have • that
many although I have 7 turn tables...)
I also seem to remember (I can't see it in this picture) that it has at • least
one light sensor (maybe more).
Apart from that... piece of cake!

You need 5 rotation sensors, 5 'normal' motors, 1 micromotor, 98 chain links
22 technic triangle, 7 technic turntable, 6 shoch absorbers.....116 technic
pin with friction and a load of other parts (2 RCX) of total 890 parts.

Mibo is the most exciting model I have made. I was not able to copy Jin's model exactly, but I sure enjoyed trying. (URL) Fay rfay@we.mediaone.net (URL) Eriksson" <maeron@telia.com> wrote in message news:G9B6I4.AM5@lugnet.com... (...) old (...) for (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) OMG - 5 rotation sensors?! how the $#%& am I going to get 5 rotation sensors (here in Israel...) ? No touch / light sensors? And, by 'normal motor' do you mean the new geared motors or the old fast motors? - David (23 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic)
