Re: flex parts, where can you get them?

(...) 8479 barcode truck has a lot of flex, if you can find it somewhere. 8008 stormtrooper should have one too, but mine was missing the cable, anybody else had that problem? (I didn't get around to call LEGO service yet.) Jürgen (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8462 Mods..

(...) Yes, it's used exactly like this in 8868. The advantage is that you can nicely fasten the tubing with 1x1 tiles with clip ((URL) Jürgen Stuber <stuber@loria.fr> (URL) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)

  Re: question about tubing

(...) The plastic, common one. The rubber tubes would be far too sloppy for useage with the flex system. (...) Neither. The pneumatic tubing is slightly thicker than the one off 8002/8503, and has thicker walls, too. To make things even more (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: question about tubing

(...) Basicly which of the 2 types is the flex tubing as used with flex system and which of them is the pneumatic tubing (or is one of them neither?) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: flex parts, where can you get them?

(...) 8002 Destroyer Droid and 8008 Stormtrooper. Perhaps there are even more of the current sets which have them? Fredrik (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: question about tubing

(...) It's the tubing from the 8002 Destroyer Droid (in brown) and the 8503 Scuba Slizer (in yellow). These sets have the rubbery, sloppy tubes. Virtually all other Technic sets have the plastic tubes which are much less flexible. Fredrik (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

From: "Jason King" <jklugnet665@optusnet.com.au> (...) isn't (...) Depends on if you want a real Digital still camera, or a Web Camera (what Vision Command basically is).   Re: 8462 Mods..

No pictures at the moment. I need to get a digital camera huh... Would a Vision Command be a way to get one even if the picture quality isn't all that good?   question about tubing

I have 2 different kinds of tubing in my collection. One lind is a stiff tube that holds its shape a bit when bent. The other kind is a very flexable tube that dosnt feel like ABS at all. It feels more like a rubbery sort of palstic. Can anyone tell (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

flex parts, where can you get them?

  8462 Mods..

I added a Pneumatic Claw ( like the Airtech claw rig ) to my 8462 secondary model today, and learnt something very useful. The older flex tubing, like that is used in the 8462, is very handy when used as tubing extenders. I used two pieces running (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.technic)

  Technic 16 cylinder Rotary Engine

Hi I just wanted to share this creation that my friend Rob and I created the other night. Maybe we are just easily amused, but I didn't hink we would ever get it done. You can see the engine we created at this address: (URL) for the picture angles, (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Just got 8007/C3PO

Just for the record, I hate stickers. In the last month I put together C-3P0, the stormtrooper and the ucs x-wing and I have never seen so many stickers in my life. I am anti-sticker from now on. I have the wrinkling sticker problem on the feet (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

Technic fun with the Mindstorms programmable bricks that do not require a PC: the Scout and the Micro Scout. They run built-in programs controlled mainly by sensor input.   Re: Super Street sensation 8448

I thought the 8448 had been discontinued, that's what Lego S@H told me. My dampened shocks broke, I got replacements and one of the replacements have the same number as the defective ones. Anyone know if the new generation should have different (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Just got 8007/C3PO

I made a stop by Target today to make sure they hadn't lowered their clearance prices anymore, and they had the 8007 C3PO. $29.97. I just got through assembling the set. First my rants :) This set would have been much better if there had been more (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Super Street sensation 8448
