I believe my LEGO Diablo phase has come to an end...I think I have finally succeeded in creating a likeness (but that's for you to decide). Modeled after the latest Diablo, my LEGO rendition is fully motorized (with a geared motor and a micromotor (...) (...) Agreed. The whole "virus on the web" thing on the web site doesn't really make sense. "Bikes with human brains" is passible, but there's no particular reason for it either. The dudes on the wheels is just to give us something else to buy again (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Chris Mattson wrote in message ... (...) Definitely. I have over a dozen of these and use them for cranes. At one point, I ran out and had to use boat weights. [1] For Technic, boat weights are obviously a poor substitute for the 2x6 weights. [1] (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

I've recently been trying to modify my #8444. My planned modifications, and the problems they've caused: -Opening cockpit (simple modification, really) Without being bolted down in front, the cockpit partially loses its shape. No biggie, though. (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

They were used as masts in 314 and 315, two of the old ships-series. They were also used in the old Model-team: the Harley and the Norton (393 & 394) feature a few as axles, footrests and antenna. The Rolls Royce (395) uses one for its steering (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)
