  Re: Another Technic Creation

(...) Ok - a non-lego solution to the large 4 prop aircraft problem, unfortunately not created by me, can be found here: (URL) a video of the same: (URL) one day this will be possible with Lego! I'm not holding my breath though ;-) Jennifer Clark (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8880 Super Car information

(...) I think it's the other way around: The new ones off the 8448 are more rigid than the old light grey ones. In stead, one may try the new shocks off the Silver Champion. They are even more rigid than the ones off 8448, or so they say. Fredrik (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) No, it's not a single throttle. Throttle controls volume rate of flow for steam, valve gear controls cut off (position of piston to TDC when admission is stopped). Hackworth Valve Gear does not have a curved arm, perhaps take a look at it, (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Another Technic Creation

(...) I'm not sure if I understand the meaning of what you write above. But if you intend to build a plane which can be moved from the power output of the propellers alone, then I think you may be in for a disappointment. I would be very surprised (...)   Re: Adjustable 4 wheel steering

I have had luck with an air selection system. Utilizing the 1.25" cylinders for engaging the axles from one steering setup to the other. This takes a lot of room as you have to run both pinion shafts to each axle and have a cylinder there to engage (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
