  Re: Another Technic Creation

(...) Sounds like we are of a similar age - I suppose there is a sort of of "Golden Age" type thing when you look back on the models of the late seventies. I think my favourites were the Mobile Crane and the Motorbike, although I remember the fork (...) (25 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Tank (Re: Tracks)

(...) Actually I thought that looked really nice...functons seem like they would work pretty well too. You could try to use a "worm" gear to gear down the turntable; it can usually get the job done without using too much space... (25 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Tank (Re: Tracks)

(...) Me too, so I tinkered with the Cybermaster Tracks sunday afternoon. (URL) notes: - The tracks are longer than the RIS tracks, but still too short. - The original support structure from Cybermaster looks awful, due to its wedge shape. - The (...)   Re: Catalog of female minifigs?

<snip...or should I say Znap?> Okay, now that you've done plenty of work already, it's time for you to further drive yourself insane by telling us the 5 cheapest currently available sets containing inarguably female minifigs, sorted by hair color (...)   Re: Catalog of female minifigs?

There's also "Crystal Aput" in the Arctic Theme's Polar Base (6575), who has a common female head, but a unique torso, and (reputedly) "Haley Comet" in the largest of the SpacePort sets. You can see scans of Crystal Aput and the female Green Ninja (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Another Technic Creation

(...) That is an exceptional creation...combines a lot of functions into a medium-sized model that also looks good...great work! (...) Heh...I'm kind of a nut with these things; I just have to know exactly how everything works. So, right after (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Instruction booklet misprint

(...) there was one strange thing: there was a single loose page in the box of one of the steps. Thinking it had fallen out, I looked in the booklet and the appropriate page was already there. Then I looked to see if the duplicate had any changes (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wobbly Silver Champion?

(...) My Silver Champion seems to be very strong actually; the only problem I could find is that the decorative tubing in one or two places seems to come off easily. It could be that since the display model there was unsecure, it might have been (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Instruction booklet misprint

Today I bought the Silver Champion and I got a misprinted instruction booklet see: (URL) only were the pages wrongly cut, the pages where not sorted so I had to browse the entire booklet to find the next step. I'm calling customer service this (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)
