That is an exceptional creation...combines a lot of functions into a
medium-sized model that also looks good...great work!

Heh...I'm kind of a nut with these things; I just have to know exactly how
everything works. So, right after finishing the 8448, I just stared at the
inner workings of the gearbox for about 5 minutes. It is actually very
simple yet innovative...the kind of thing that is easy to understand when
built but very hard to think of and construct.
I did the same thing with the 8480, taking apart some parts of it to see
exactly how the gear networks were constructed...I ended up dismantling half
the model! :-)
