(...) by the amount of attention you've given to functionality, realism, and appearance. Usually, that's a pick-one-or-two sort of proposition, but this combines all three very nicely. Lego should make this into a set. (25 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Another Technic Creation

Jennifer, Once again you have created a fantastic model and a great web page. Your first two models set a high standard and the excavator continues in that direction. Thank you for sharing your work. Question: How do you get the pnematics to operate (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Another Technic Creation

Hi Jennifer, that was it we (I) were waiting for!!! LEGO-HIGH-TECHNIC again! Supereb!! I just saw one of the movies - there is hardly no difference to a real moving excavator. Check your snail-mailbox in a couple of days for more inspirations! And (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Another Technic Creation

Hi again folks, I've just put my latest creation online, a Technic figure scale small(ish) excavator. The model is powered by motors and pneumatics, and there are MPEG videos of it working to download. You can find it here: (URL) me know what you (...)   Shop at Home

If you have not been over to the Lego site, you may want to take a peek. They added a handfull of new technic accessory packs on Shop at Home. Nothing that you can't see in the catalog but I think many are new to Shop at Home. Later Mike (25 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pneum Tubing (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

Radio-controlled model airplanes often have the tubing. You can find Lego-pneumatic-compatible tubing and connectors at hobby shops that sell parts for radio-controlled model airplanes. The airplane tubing has a larger outside diameter than the Lego (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  The Giant Wheelbot

After some initial stops and starts, I finally finished my Giant Wheelbot MOC made from Znap, Technic and the RCX.   Pneumatic Parts! (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

Well, just like my beloved <set:5235>, the various pneumatic parts (5099, 5107, 5108, 5109, 5116, 5117) are no longer available. In addition, the air tank has never - AFAIK - been available separately. Until now... :-) Unless someone else steps up (...)   Pneumatic Pack

i just ordered the pnuematic pack from s@h, and i plan to put it on my soon-to-be 8880. instead of my wacked "hydralics" effect, this time i plan to add a pneumatic boot. since the reach of the standard 2in cylinder is not enough to raise the boot (...)   Pneum Tubing (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

  Old pneumatic pistons

Hi, can anybody comment on the old pneumatic pistons, those in e.g. 8851? They seem to have only one connector, so it seems that you can only push them out, not retract them like the new ones in e.g. 8462. Or is there some spring inside to contract (...)   Re: New Clock Escapement Design
