Excellent stuff, and the photos are great. The writing about the car was • also
useful to me as I previously had no idea what a Caterham 7 was. I also • liked
the very large zoomed in photos; I've always gone for smaller zooms • because of
the assumption that larger ones will confuse some users with scrollbars • etc,
but the boldness of these huge images is fantastic.

I thought it was worth going for some BIG images now that it's all finished.
With some careful use of JPEG compression, their file size is not too huge
either.  I'm impressed with the quality of my new digital camera at the
really close-in shots, the macro mode works really well.

Congratulations also on doing something good with blue lego; for some • reason I
have rather a soft spot for the somewhat  maligned colour, so it is nice • to see
it being used to such good effect.

I had my reservations, having not seen too many blue 7s, but I had no
choice!  Those blue angled wings at each side of the cabin were the only
non- black/grey/white ones that I had.  Red was my preferred choice, but
there are no red 'wings' in my collection :-(

These wipers are really cool too; IMHO it is little touches like this that
really make a model look good.

I nearly admitted defeat on these at one point and settled for a 'move with
you own hands' manual system.  Glad I persevered though, as the motorised
ones are way more cool!  By the way, how did you create the cool videos on
your site?  Web cam?  I'm jealous!

Cheers,

Neil

(...) I used a Sony EVI-D31 pan/tilt/zoom camera, commonly found rebadged on videoconferencing systems, to film the video. I don't have the good fortune to own one myself as they are rather expensive (about 800 UKP), but we have a couple in the lab (...) (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.uk)
