I have about 16 motors and I have had, out of the box, 6 motors DOA... Other
friends have more then 20 motors with 0 failures... I can only guess that I'm
cursed with motors. S@H will replace ALL your dead motors... They did for me.
Once when I sent in two bad once at once they gave me a third as a bonus!
(Wasn't that nice) It's just the luck of the draw. I think Lego had a bad batch
of motors.
Oh well, at least they are good about it...

I suspect that this may occur with lack of use rather (...) (26 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.technic)
