| Back in late August/early September, they did not recognise it as a design flaw, but simply a quality control problem. My replacements were identical in design to those in the original set. I have been holding off from returning my broken (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.uk)

| Hi, Jonathon? Are you saying the "replacment" cylinders also "broke" after use ? Huw? when you say "shattered internally" what are you seeing there? broken seals or fractured ABS parts ? | As Huw says, the black piece of plastic, that prevents the spring from dropping into the clear cylinder, breaks up. This renders the damper completely useless.
