Hello, It is about 20-25 years ago when I last playede with my 4.5 volt motor, but I remember them very vell. You should be able to buy new "points" at any electronic-part shop. As I remember it they are "single" but I guess that the screw is the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

You should take a look at the ldraw program and the .dat files which accompany it. I have seen gears in there - see how they tackled the problem and take it from there. Also, from looking at my own gears here the teeth are not a straight pyramid (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Well, okay. As an alternative, Wal-mart has their Mega Bloks NASCAR 4-pak on closeout for $3. At 75 cents a pop, you won't have to feel guilty if you really do crush one. Plus you get a few bricks to build walls you can crash tank and mecha (...) (25 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

Hello,, I have a few questions about the Lego Technic Gears. I have tried to draw them in a 3D-CAD program but I can't get the good tooth- shape. (I have made a rack, and used this for "cutting" a gear-tooth in 10 steps and then copied in a circular (...) (25 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

I bought the Expert kit on sale at ZanyBrainy about 3 months ago. It has a certain "neato" factor. Its worth it for that but has its limitations. You really need the expert kit to get enough parts to build anything complex. I got a little bored with (...) (25 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I'd love to see this picture - as a kid back in 1980 I tried something similar, but only managed to get four wheel drive and steering without suspension. To see how someone else achieved it back then would be ace. It's funny how things happen, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Looking at that item brought me a bit of nostalgia - I still have my original set from 1980 or thereabouts. I had no idea there was such a demand for it now, although it certainly is a great model, in particular I loved the movable and (...) (25 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)
