  Re: Throwbots and Roboriders

(...) I've got all of both lines, mostly because I'm a sucker for little robots. The RoboRiders are easier to play around with, since they are on wheels you just roll them around instead of worrying about posing them and stuff. But in the end they (...)   Re: TECHNIC ACCESSORIES

(...) I wouldn't make any major plans that depended on that. Personally, I've found that watching the closeout sales, and the webpages of people who buy and part out sets, has met nearly all my needs. And at a lower price than TLG charges for a (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  TECHNIC ACCESSORIES

I hope lego direct plans to put technic beams and plates on the list of parts to produce. The new catalog is lacking many of the tecnic packs that were in the old catalog. The beams and plates that we could order in the past are totaly void in the (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Throwbots and Roboriders

I do not have any of these sets, but I was thinking of buying one. They are not that expensive (unless you look at the piece count- yikes!), and seem very fun to play with. If I get a Throwbot, I will probably get Amazon or Granite, if a Roborider, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Harry Potter Lego Line

(...) Here's a few more ideas: 1) Sirius Black's motorcycle (make that one a Technic set!) 2) The Knight Bus (from book 3) 3) Diagon Alley (a Town set perhaps) 4) King's Cross station (platform nine and three quarters) & train set I'd get all 4 of (...)   Re: Harry Potter Lego Line

I have read only the Sorcerer's Stone book, and I really can't imagine nine sets being made from it. I mean, there's a big castle, but there isn't nine castles. And there isn't any big ships or anything to make either. My guesses are - Hogwarts (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Harry Potter Lego Line

I speculate Harry Potter will look a lot like Timmy with a scar. I wonder if we'll get a new broom that the minifigs can actually ride on, rather than just hold? (...) myself, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Harry Potter Lego Line

(...) I don't think it's in any danger of dying down. A close friend of mine works in a children's bookstore, and they opened at 12:01am on Saturday (the release date of Harry Potter IV) until 1 to sell the book. The line wrapped around the corner (...)   Re: Harry Potter Lego Line

(...) It's not really that surprising, since the fourth one *just* came out. I'm sure the press release was timed that way specifically. I personally am boggled - I thought it was a joke, or someone proposing an idea - although hopefully this will (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Harry Potter Lego Line

I found this posted on the website. Lego has announced the purchase of construction toy rights to Harry Potter and will release nine sets in conjunction with the release of the Harry Potter Movie in Fall of 2001.
